Love During Wartime will be screened in Sweden in Stockholm, Göteborg, Malmö and Västerås on specific dates from January 19 until February 21. See below for more details. (FB event can be found here.)

January 19: SWEDISH CINEMA PREMIERE (18.00, 90 SEK)
Director Gabriella Bier and one of the film’s main characters, Osama Zatar, will be present at the premiere, which will be presented by Story AB producer Tobias Janson. Afterwards we’ll all head over to Bar Barbro, where DJ Multikulti (Klubb Re:Orient) brings us Palestinian and Israeli tunes and we enjoy some nice drinks.
Note: Only 60 premiere-tickets are available for the general public!

January 21: Q&A SCREENING (15.30, 90 SEK)
A special LDW screening where, after the screening, Zandra Thuvesson (Tempo dokumentärfestival & freelance journalist) will talk to director Gabriella Bier and the film’s main characters Osama Zatar and Jasmin Avissar. They will discuss the documentary, their experiences during filming and how they are doing now. The audience will of course be offered the opportunity to ask questions also.
January 22: BREAKFAST-SCREENING WITH PANEL DISCUSSION
150 SEK (includes breakfast). Film: 11.00-12.30, panel discussion: 12.30-13.30.
The psychology of hate. Hate seems to be an emotion that comes to people easier than love. Why is this? We have a special panel discussing this matter in relation to the film and in general. The panel consists of Lars Dencik (social psychiatrist), Jasmin Avissar (one of the main characters) and more names to be announced. Moderator is Lena Andersson, author and columnist at Dagens Nyheter and Fokus.
